Bowmanville – Open Centre – Hwy 2 & Green St
Choice Properties is launching a new expansion that will add about 14,000 square feet to its existing Loblaws supermarket at Hwy 2 and Green St. in Bowmanville, a community of about 40,000 people located about 15 kilometres east of Oshawa. The existing supermarket is about 46,500 square feet. Construction is scheduled to start in Spring 2018 for possession in Fall 2018. The Hwy 2/Green St. site is in a main retail node of Bowmanville, in close proximity to Cineplex, Home Depot, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire and WalMart. The daily traffic count on Hwy 2 is about 30,950 and about 27,900 people are living within three kilometres of the site. Katelyn Newman at Choice Properties is handling the leasing.
