Edmonton – Power Centre – Tamarack Retail Centre

Tamarack Retail Centre is a 17.9-acres power centre project located on 17th St., immediately south of Whitemud Dr.  It is one of southeast Edmonton’s newest shopping destinations featuring various national retailers, convenient local services, and dining options. The Tamarack NE and SE sites are at the heart of a one-million square foot commercial node, anchored by WalMart, GoodLife Fitness, Shoppers Drug Mart, SportChek and Michaels. Developed by Dream Centres, the centre is located to serve the destination, convenience and service needs of the large and growing community.  Leasing is being handled by Ben Volorney, Kade Clark and Chris Killingsworth at Avison Young in Edmonton. Currently there are about 44,000 people within a three-kilometre radius. The average household income in the area is over $116,700 per year.  GoodLife Fitness has just opened a stand-alone 24,000 square foot co-ed 24/7 club, its 25th Alberta location and several in-line, end cap and freestanding spaces starting at about 1200 square feet and up are available immediately as well as in future development for late 2017 and early 2018.
