Kelowna – Open Centre – Centre 97
Centre 97 is a recently renovated open centre at 1455 Harvey Ave/Hwy 97, at Burtch Rd. in Kelowna, British Columbia. Formerly named Orchard Garden Plaza, the project has recently changed hands and part of the recent upgrade included the demolition of a freestanding restaurant building in the middle of the project that, in addition to increasing the parking, has significantly increased the highway visibility and enhanced retail exposure. Currently the plaza includes a freestanding Bulk Barn along with a Dollar Tree, an animal hospital and a new 2700 square foot dental clinic that is currently under construction. Several units, ranging from 800 to 4450 square feet are available, including end cap units with large store front windows and high ceilings. Two pylon signs are on Hwy 97 and the site has about 515 feet of frontage and convenient access to the almost 60,000 vehicles that pass daily. There is also over 170 feet of frontage and access off Burtch Rd. Centre 97 is located in Kelowna’s Capri-Landmark trade area and its 69,000 population within five kilometres. The trade area includes Landmark Centre and the Capri Centre Mall. Chris Wills at Colliers International is handling the leasing.
