Kemptville – Open Centre – Kemptville Colonnade

Construction will begin in the Fall to accommodate the relocation and expansion of the successful Pet Valu from 2800 square feet to almost 4500 square feet at the Kemptville Colonnade on Hwy 416 in Kemptville, a community located about 25 minutes south of Ottawa.  The new store will feature Pet Valu’s popular ‘Self-Serve Pet Wash’ together with an enhanced retail offering. The new store will open in Spring 2018. The relocation will also result in an expansion by the adjacent Anytime Fitness.  It is scheduled for a Summer 2018 completion.  As a result, there are two new opportunities available for retail, restaurant and services to join the collection of premium retailers which include WalMart, Canadian Tire, Staples, The LCBO, The Beer Store, Dollarama, Bulk Barn, Scotiabank, TD Bank and a variety of national restaurants and services. Richard Getz and Fraser Paddison at Colonnade BridgePort Realty Inc. are marketing 1800 square feet beside Anytime Fitness and there is a new 1350 square feet unit being constructed beside Pet Valu. Build-to-suit opportunities also exist on the remaining twelve acres for everything from grocery to home improvement, additional food services and fashion and home goods where there is a significant void in the market. About 80,000 people are in the fast-growing trade area and the daily traffic count past the site is about 54,700 vehicles.
