Maple Ridge – Enclosed Mall – ValleyFair Mall
Peter Kiidumae at Bucci Investment Corp. reports that the multi-million dollar interior and exterior renovation at ValleyFair Mall in Maple Ridge is nearing completion. The project has dramatically transformed the centre from the previous major renovation that took place over 20 years ago. ValleyFair Mall is an established community centre in the fast growing market of about 76,000 people. Situated on the north side of Lougheed Hwy., between 227th and 228th streets, its immediate trade area counts over 22,000 people with average household incomes in excess of $70,000. The 139,000 square foot centre is anchored by 48,500 square foot Save-On-Foods and 34,700 square foot London Drugs that is also undergoing a total upgrade and a 5000 square foot expansion that is expected to be completed by mid-2018. The mall also includes a 7900 square foot BC Liquor and a 6900 square foot TD Canada Trust. Limited space remains available for complimentary uses to serve the growing community. Available units range from about 660 square feet to 2000 square feet and children’s wear, toys and specialty retail are suggested uses. One exterior/interior location of 1440 square feet, with covered outside patio space, is particularly suited for food service use. The units are available immediately.
