Mississauga – Open Centre – 3045 Mavis Rd 

Katelyn Newman at Choice Properties REIT is pre-leasing about 10,000 square feet of CRU space on the Real Canadian Superstore site at 3045 Mavis Rd. at Dundas St. West in Mississauga. The freestanding plaza-style addition will be adjacent to the Superstore across from an existing 12,000 square foot freestanding LCBO that is already on the site. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2018 for a Fall 2018 possession.  In addition to the 80,900 square foot Superstore and LCBO, the site is shadow-anchored by a Home Depot and is across from a Canadian Tire.  The site is located north of the QEW Hwy in the densely populated Cooksville neighbourhood in an area that combines residential and commercial/industrial development that offer both strong daytime and evening traffic.  Over 31,300 vehicles pass daily on Dundas along with about 28,600 vehicles on Mavis.  More than 14,000 people are living within one kilometre of the site and the average household income in the area is in excess of $102,000 per year.  The average age in the area is about 40 years.
