Red Deer – Open Centre – Timberlands Market

Later this week, the 42,000-square foot Central Alberta Co-op supermarket anchor along with its 8200-square foot liquor store and convenience store/gas bar/car wash opens in the 200,000 square foot Timberlands Market in Red Deer.  An Elephant & Castle pub/restaurant and Herc’s Nutrition are also opening this week in the multi-building 12.5-acres project and a Pet Valu opens by the end of March. Tenant improvements are underway on several of the other committed tenants that include a Motion Fitness, Cob’s Bread, Freshii, Massage Addict, Papa John’s, Mobi Jack’s Gadget Repair, Authentic Indian Cuisine and a full-service daycare.  Timberlands Market is located at the high traffic 30th Ave. and Timberland Dr.  intersection that sees over 38,000 vehicles per day passing on 30th Ave. Over 23,800 people are living in the immediate market and the average household income in the trade area is about $105,000 per year. The project is by Development 2 Inc. and principal Ryan Sawatzky, who is also handling the leasing, notes that currently there is a new 1355 square foot end cap location that is available for immediate possession.
