Sudbury – Enclosed Mall – New Sudbury Centre

In March, Morguard completed the $1.8-million renovation of the food court at its New Sudbury Centre in Sudbury.    The investment gave the existing nine-unit food court a modern design uplift with new décor, new lighting, new tables, new chairs, new planters and furniture, etc.  The new food court offers over 600 seating capacity and the addition of two new ‘free-standing kiosks, Booster Juice and Kernels Popcorn, located within the food court area.  Gilles Levesque, Morguard’s Director, Retail Leasing notes that to complete its food offering, a search is underway for a pasta/pizza use for the one unit that will be available in the Fall.  Located in a high traffic retail node in Sudbury in Northern Ontario, New Sudbury Centre is a 570,000-square foot enclosed mall anchored by WalMart and Sears.  Over 185,500 people are in the mall’s primary trade area and the average household income is more than $104,500 per year. More that 4.1-million people visit the mall each year.
