Construction at the Shops at Wilson Station is now complete and most of the tenants are open for business.  Only a limited number of units remaining available for lease in the new 50,000 square foot large format development located just north of Yorkdale Shopping Centre at 75 Billy Bishop Way and Wilson Ave. in North Toronto.  Located adjacent to an existing Home Depot/Costco box development, the site was formerly a commuter parking lot and offers direct access to the Wilson Subway station's south access point. With frontage on Wilson Ave. and its 34,000 daily traffic and the 12,500 daily traffic on Billy Bishop Way, combined with the strong visibility from the Allen southbound, as well as visibility and easy access from Hwy 401 via Dufferin St., the development presents both a regional and a neighbourhood customer pool for a variety of retailers which could include fashion/footwear, specialty users, services, and pub/restaurant/quick service users. Available units range in size from 1080 square feet to 5588 square feet.  Given the close proximity to the subway line, the mid and high rise condominium growth in the immediate area is confirmed at 8909 new residential units with an additional 17,300 planned units within a larger five kilometre area.  Moore’s, Carter’s Osh Kosh, Snuggle Bugz, Starbucks, A&W, The Beer Store, Ren’s Pets and the Nail Gallery are all open for business with Classic Creations Jewellers and Vivo Pizza & Pasta opening in the Spring.  Megan McGowan and Lawrence Mosselson at S&H Realty Corp. are handling the leasing.
