One of the latest additions to the established Grant Park Shopping Centre community mall, Cambrian Credit Union has opened a 6100-square foot unit on the pad at the Grant Ave. and Nathaniel St. corner of the project. Inside the mall, a new, 22,000 square foot Winners is under construction for an August 2017 opening and a 4300-square foot freestanding Fionn MacCool’s pub/restaurant is also under construction at a Grant Ave. entrance to the site. It too is expected to be open in August. Grant Park Shopping Centre is a 400,000-square foot enclosed mall serving Winnipeg’s affluent south-central neighbourhoods. The mall is anchored by a Red River Co-op, Canadian Tire and a Landmark Theatres along with a GoodLife Fitness, Shoppers Drug Mart and the soon-to-open Winners. Primaris Management’s Director of Leasing, Kevin Cascone is responsible for the mall’s leasing and reports that three units are available immediately. A 779-square foot unit is at an entrance, inside/outside access, is suitable for food or service. Another is a1900-square foot in-line site, beside the Winners and Bellisima Ladies Wear locations. Fashion is the suggested use. Fashion is also suggested for a 1000-square foot in-line unit in the main mall area. Over 92,000 residents are in the primary trade area that takes in the southwest quadrant if the city. In March 2017, the mall reported CRU productivity of $453 per square foot. Grant Park Shopping Centre is at 1120 Grant Ave., easily accessible from Pembina Ave.
