Lachute – Land Sale/Lease – Bethany Ave

Montreal-based development company Econo-Malls reports that it has sold its Lachute Walmart Centre in Lachute, a community located about 62 kilometres northwest of Montreal.  The centre consists of a 75,680 square foot Walmart Supercentre and a freestanding 3040 square foot Tim Hortons.   Econo-Malls had acquired the centre as part of a six-centre, 980,000 square foot portfolio in Fall 2018.   An excess parcel of land of about 28,500 square feet has been retained by Econo Malls and is available for sale, development or land lease. The land is immediately adjacent to the Walmart Centre on the north side and fronts onto Bethany Ave., just off Principale St., and surrounded by a mix of national brands and established local businesses.  Over 12,800 people are in the immediate market and the average age is 46-years.  Econo Malls’ President, COO Howard Wiseman is handling the sale/lease of the available property.
