Escape Leaves One Vacancy…….

Late last week, Control Escape Winnipeg Inc. opened in a 7345 square foot unit at Roblin Plaza in Winnipeg’s Charleswood area.  Control Escape is an entertainment concept in which guests/players are placed in different situations and must use various clues to get out of the room, find friends, etc. With the opening, only one unit, a 1656 square foot in-line location fronting onto Roblin Blvd. remains available in the open centre.  Located at 3525 Roblin Blvd. at Laxdal Rd., the center is just east of the William R. Clement Pkwy.  The high traffic neighbourhood plaza currently includes a daycare, learning centre, a Thrift Store, hair salon and service professional uses.  Over 109,000 people in more than 46,000 households are within a five-kilometre radius of the site.  The median age is about 43 years and the average household income is in excess of $109,700 per year.  The daytime population in the area is more than 107,000 people and about 56,600 vehicles pass the William R.
