Abbotsford – Open Centre – McCallum Centre
McCallum Centre is a recently renovated neighborhood centre at McCallum Rd. and Bevan Ave. in Abbotsford, a community located about 71 kilometres southeast of Vancouver at the Canada/US border. The centre is positioned between Hwy 1 and the historic downtown Abbotsford in an area that is becoming a retail node. The 70,000 square foot centre includes a recently added 24,000 square foot 24-hour Planet Fitness and a 13,000 square foot Fabricland. Presently, about 30,000 square feet of renovated CRU space is available for lease with demising options from 1,000 to 15,000 square feet with end cap units available. Over 52,800 vehicles pass the site each day on McCallum Rd and on Cannon Ave/Bevan Ave. Uses such as full service and fast food restaurants, esthetics, service-oriented retailers and other C3 zoned uses are desired. Tenant occupancy available early 2019. More than 110,000 people are living within five kilometres of the site. The median age is about 40-years and the daytime population is over 52,600. The average household income is in excess of $87,500 per year. The major renovation, some of which is still underway, includes all new storefront facades, parking lot, landscaping, infrastructure as well as base building mechanical and electrical.
