Jeremy Shimkofsky of Intrepid Commercial Realty Ltd is marketing for lease three new retail units at the base of the new Axiom Condos at 424 Adelaide St. East in downtown Toronto. The retail units feature large frontages along Adelaide. There are approximately 500 residential units in Axiom and a further 350 units in the adjacent condo building. Other retail units in the building been leased to a convenience store operator and sandwich franchise.  The approximate unit sizes are 840 square feet, 570 square feet and 413 square feet. The units can be leased separately or altogether for a total square footage of about 1,825 square feet.  The owners purchased several parking spots in the building, and these are negotiable with the deal. The retail units could also be purchased. The area is undergoing new growth and the project is one block north of substantial new retail and office developments on King West, including a new headquarters for the Globe & Mail, George Brown College buildings, etc.  A large office development of over 400,000 square feet, directly across the street, is currently being marketed.
