Jerk in the DT Core, Paddies Too……

The signs are in the window announcing that Lloydie’s is opening a new site on Crescent St. in Montreal later in the Summer. This will be the second location for the Caribbean restaurant, with the first having opened last Fall in the Mile End district of Montreal.  Lloydie’s is a family-owned Caribbean food operation headed by Lloyd Tull that has been in operation since the early 1990s, supplying Jamaican patties and other Caribbean specialties throughout the Quebec market from its plant in Ville St-Laurent. Lloyd Tull, along with his sons Nathanial and Rem Tull and friend Julian Chemtov, opened the first Lloydie’s restaurant on St-Viateur St. in late 2017.  Now Lloydie’s has secured a location right in the downtown core.  In addition to their various patties, the menu now includes a variety of jerk meats, sandwiches, Caribbean-inspired poutines, sides, desserts and more.
