Saint John, NB – Enclosed Mall – Lancaster Mall

Earlier in March, two new tenants are opening in Strathallen’s Lancaster Mall, the 235,000 square foot mall in Saint John in New Brunswick.  Through a partial redevelopment of the community mall, a national fitness provider will occupy 15,000 square feet next to No Frills and Bank of Montreal.  Construction of the fitness centre will be completed by late Summer 2021 with a grand opening prior to yearend.  In addition, the Saint John Free Public Library is relocating and expanding to a new prominent location next to Walmart, allowing for direct access to the library from the main parking lot. Part of the mall for over 28-years, the larger upgraded library with expanded services will open in early Summer 2021.  Located at the Reversing Falls exit along Route 1, and with public transit located onsite, Lancaster Mall is anchored by Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, and No Frills serving over 200,000 visits annually.  Inline units ranging from 370 square feet up to about 10,000 square feet are currently available in the mall. Strathallen’s Vice President, Leasing Petr Kafka in Toronto and Senior Manager, Leasing Michael Ewald in Halifax are handling the leasing.
