Opening in Regina…..

This month, Great Clips opens its latest walk-in hair salon in the new Acre 21 community retail project in South East Regina.  It is the second Great Clips salon for owner Jignesh Sanghavi, who opened his first store in Calgary in 2012.  Known for its value-priced, high quality haircare for families without the need for an appointment, the Minneapolis-based franchise chain counts about 4300 locally owned salons across the U.S. and Canada.   In late 2018, Great Clips reported plans to open 40 more locations through franchise partnerships and strategic development in Canada.  Great Clips' Canadian development is led in part by Director of Franchise Development, Beth Caron.  Currently there are over 160 units across Canada and over 48 active franchisees, and Ms Caron continues to seek qualified franchisee partners in these and other regions.  Real Estate Manager, Canada Nicole Moniz is responsible for the real estate and site selection activities across the country. Great Clips salons targets a younger demographic as well as families and busy professionals. The salons locate in grocery-anchored centers and high-visibility neighbourhood centers within densely populated areas. The typical location is 900 to 1,200 square feet, in-line or out-parcel, easy access for both ingress and egress, ample parking with building and monument/pylon signage.
