StickerYou has extended its ‘pop-up kiosk’ on the upper level of Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga through 2020. And in early March, it opens another short-term pop-up in Vaughan Mills in Vaughan, north of Toronto. It is scheduled for a two-month period. StickerYou is a custom-printed décor, packaging and self-expression specialty retailer that open its first retail location in the Summer in downtown Toronto. Initially an eCommerce concept, twelve-year-old company specializes in custom-printed, die-cut products that empower businesses and consumers to create professional-grade materials for marketing, packaging, decor and personal expression. The company produces high quality custom stickers, labels, decals, iron-ons, temporary tattoos, etc. in any sizes and quantity. The company is now seeking other opportunities to open other pop-up/short term locations, both in Canada and the United States. Spaces of about 100 square feet and a two-month term are generally sufficient to evaluate the market. When StickerYou opened its 2300 square foot unit at 677 Queen St West in August, in addition to meeting customers face-to-face, there were plans to host everts and exhibitions. On January 30th, the Queen West location will be opening a sticker art exhibition and museum.
