Hamilton – Open Centre – Queenston Place
Queenston Place is a recently renovated, open centre that serves the neighbourhood in East Hamilton in Southern Ontario. Situated on Queenston and Nash roads, the 154,400 square foot centre serves this densely populated neighbourhood and surrounding area, with over 144,700 people in a five kilometre radius and an average household income of over $77,300 yearly. The First Capital Realty-owned project is anchored by a 37,800 square foot No Frills supermarket, a 29,800 square foot Goodlife Fitness and a 26,000 square foot Home Hardware. Queenston Place is presently 100 percent leased, however, there is an opportunity for a new shared pad of about 4300 square feet at the Queenston Rd. entrance to the centre. Units are available on the new development between 1,200 square feet to about 1,900 square feet. Suggested uses include quick service restaurants, personal service, general retail, dental and/or health services.
