Chris Jones, Owner of the growing Cannabis Xpress chain reports that the tenth store opens next week in Hampton, a community in the Clarington municipality east of Toronto. The unit is located at 1648 Taunton Rd. in a convenience plaza at Durham Regional Rd. 4 and Enfield Rd. in Hampton. On Monday, the 600 square foot store with about 300 square feet of retail area opens with in-store shopping and curbside pickup. Jones adds that the next location opens in Brighton in the Northumberland County, east of Toronto, by June and a search continues for highly visible locations, under 1000 square feet, in small-medium sized cities and towns across Ontario that have little or no competition in the area. He adds that plans call for 15 to 20 locations operating by the end of 2022.
