Contrecoeur – Open Centre – Marche Contrecoeur

Marché Contrecoeur is an IGA Extra-anchored neighbourhood centre in Contrecoeur, a growing community about 45-kilometres east of downtown Montreal. Contrecoeur is about to undergo a major transformation, driven in part by the expansion of the Port of Montreal that will turn the area into a regional and international transportation hub, creating about 24,000 jobs in the region over the next ten years.  Marche Contrecoeur is an open community centre on a 6.9-acre site at Autroroute de L’Acier and rue St Antoine, at the entrance to the city’s residential core.    Presently an inline 1800 square foot unit is available in the centre and construction is underway on a shared pad site available in sizes from about 1400 square feet to 7000 square feet and available for Summer 2021.   Jaime Roskies at Forum is handling the leasing.  In addition to the IGA, current tenants include SAQ, Dollarama, Eggspress, A&W, Banque Nationale, Boutique d’animaux and Opto Reseau.
