Located halfway between Mont-Tremblant and Mont-Laurier in the Riviere Rouge community in Quebec’s Laurentides region northwest of Montreal, Marché Rivière-Rouge is a proposed neighbourhood plaza just off the Hwy 117/TransCanada Hwy exit. The plaza serves a market of over 9,000 people and the daily traffic pass the site is about 10,000 vehicles. A growing tourist and outdoor area, the centre is in a close vicinity to an IGA supermarket, Familiprix pharmacy, an SAQ, a regional hospital, etc. A freestanding Tim Hortons is currently in place, creating a prime destination stop for those travelling towards Mont-Laurier, Val d’Or and Abitibi. A next component to the project would see the development of an additional 5,000 square feet of retail space that has the option of subdividing into smaller units. Jaime Roskies at Forum Properties is handling the leasing.
