1st U.S. Opens, 2nd Soon……

In early December, Vancouver-based restaurant group Cactus Club Café opened its first restaurant in the U.S. The upscale contemporary dining restaurant chain opening a 300-seat, 9500 square foot restaurant in the historic 25-storey mixed-use 500 Boylston tower in Boston’s Back Bay area.  In addition, the chain is also in final preparation to open a 10,000 square foot indoor/outdoor restaurant and lounge in the Citigroup Center at Biscayne Blvd and Southeast 2nd St in downtown Miami.  The company reports that Cactus Club Cafe will deliver a fresh take on elevated hospitality, creating an upbeat, stylish vibe fueled by energetic music, people. Its chef-driven menu delivers bold, refined dishes with something for every craving.  Introduced in North Vancouver in 1988, Cactus Club Café is a chain of about 33 premium casual restaurants in Canada, operating from British Columbia to Ontario. The Cactus Club Café chain is owned by the Fuller family, who also owns Earls Restaurants Ltd and the 70 Earl’s Kitchen + Bar restaurants which include about ten in the U.S., one of which is at 800 Boylston St. in Boston. Taryn Brandes and Emily Green of Brand Urban, a retail real estate brokerage and advisory company based in Manhattan, represented the tenant as Cactus Club’s national master broker.
