Alive Health Centre is a Canadian health and wellness retailer specializing in natural health products, vitamins, and nutritional supplements. Founded in British Columbia in 1983 by Alice Chung in a 700 square foot boutique in the Richmond Centre Mall in Richmond, the family-owned company presently operates about eleven retail locations in British Columbia providing a wide range of products focused on natural living, including herbal remedies, organic foods, and beauty and wellness supplements. In 1998, Ms Chung acquired the Supplements Plus chain which currently operates two stores, in Toronto and Vancouver, and in 1999 she acquired the Morning Sun Health Food chain in Calgary. The Morning Sun chain presently numbers eight stores in Alberta. Alive Health Centre also provides online shopping.
