Later this month, Big Moustache Barber Shop will open its seventh location at the centre at Pinegrove Rd and Hwy 10 in Bridgewater, a community located about 99-kilometres east of Halifax. The unit is about 880 square feet and the chain is planning growth throughout Nova Scotia and into other Atlantic provinces in the next couple of years. Bhavesh ‘Kumar’ Parekh and Hosam ‘Sam’ Alsayed launched the men’s specialty salon in Fall 2019 in downtown Halifax. Recognized as an ‘old-school’ men’s barbershop, it features high-quality and fashionable haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard trims, etc. in a comfortable, relaxed environment. With six locations in the Halifax-Dartmouth area, and the recent introduction of its franchise program, anticipates aggressive expansion. Ryan Harrison and Tristan Costelo at Blueberry Commercial Real Estate are handling the site selection for The Big Moustache throughout the Atlantic Canada market and are assisting with the franchise search. High traffic locations in the 800 to 1500 square foot range are required.
