The modern entertainment concept blends traditional cue sports with contemporary gaming culture. Originating in the First Markham Place in Markham in 2022, the venue offers a dynamic social environment featuring high-quality billiards tables alongside advanced esports stations designed for both casual and competitive play. With plans for more expansion targeting Toronto’s Yonge and Sheppard area, Mississauga, Vaughan and Scarborough, FunMix positions itself as more than a traditional pool hall, aiming to create a community hub where gaming and social interaction intersect. Its facilities are well-maintained and supported by food and beverage offerings, enhancing the overall guest experience. The size required is in a 7000 to 15,000 square foot range in high traffic areas, near schools, universities or entertainment hubs. The chain has retained Vanessa Tse, Noelle Goulding and Barbara Kless at The Behar Group Realty to handle the site selection.
