Throught a reciprocal partnership with QSRP signed in 2023, Foodtastic announced plans to open 50 or more O’Tacos quick service locations in Canada. Introduced in Grenoble in France in 2007 and part of the Switzerland-based QSRP group since 2018, O’Tacos is a French-style halal taco featuring a folded, grilled flour tortilla filled with fries, cheese and quality meats. QSRP is a quick service restaurant platform with about 1000 restaurants in seven countries in Europe. In Spring 2025, Foodtastic opened the first O’Tacos in Canada in a street front location on St Catherine St West at Guy St near the Concordia Campus in downtown Montreal. Expansion continued, adding locations in the Montreal area, Laval, Quebec City, Terrebonne and in late 2025, the eighth quick service O’Tacos opened at 7179 St Laurent Blvd. in Montreal’s Little Italy community. A franchise concept, O’Tacos continues to seek 1000 to 1500 square foot highly visible street front locations, shopping centres, entertainment centres, etc. in urban, suburban and downtown markets across Canada.
