In early December 2025, Craig’s Cookies took its first step into Western Canada with its opening on 17th Ave SW in Calgary. And later this week, the Toronto-based chain opens its first franchise location in the Maritimes, a street front location at 1581 Barrington St on the ground floor of the recently restored Green Lantern building in downtown Halifax in Nova Scotia. Founded as an online concept by Craig Pike over twelve years ago, Craig’s Cookies is a bakery brand, known for its flavour-packed cookies that evolved as a series of pop-ups and the first permanent location in 2018 on Queen St West. The company has grown from the single kitchen in Parkdale to over 20 locations offering fresh baked cookies in over 100 flavours, made with premium ingredients and stuffed with various additions like Mars bars, M&Ms, Oreo Cookies, etc. A franchise chain, the majority of the units are in Ontario and one each in St John’s in Newfoundland and Calgary. Franchise expansion continues and the chain is seeking 600 to 1200 square foot boutique locations.
