The Great Canadian Bagel has been operating bakery/cafes across Canada since 1993. A franchise concept, the chain presently includes about 13 locations in Ontario, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island featuring bagels that are produced and baked ‘on site’ in several locations using only natural ingredients without additives and preservatives. Menus feature about 24 varieties of freshly baked bagels, along with over 20 flavours of cream cheese spreads, made-to-order gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads and beverages, in addition to providing an extensive catering menu and wholesale opportunities. The Great Canadian Bagel continues to expand and has retained Tao Yang at CBRE’s Suburban Retail Team to handle the site selection in the Greater Toronto area in Ontario and the Halifax are in Nova Scotia. Open centre and plaza locations in the 1200 to 2000 square foot range are required.
