On March 4th, restaurant group, Foodtastic celebrates the grand opening of the Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna in the CF Market Mall in northwest Calgary. With its ‘soft’ opening in late 2025, the 6430 square foot Monza Market Mall is the first Enoteca Monza in Western Canada. The full service upscale casual restaurant is at the mall’s East entrance at Shaganappi Trail NW, near the mall’s food court area. The menu features a wide array of antipasti such as hand crafted arancini, slow cooked meatballs, creamy burrata, an assortment of carpaccio, a large selection of apple wood-fired pizzas, fresh pastas, seafood, and steaks. The menu is paired with a curated wine list and dessert menu. Enoteca Monza was first introduced in 2010 and has since expanded to include eight locations in Quebec. It was acquired by Foodtastic in 2018 and Foodtastic has chosen to expand the Monza banner in partnership with West Coast based Pacific Rose Hospitality Group. Pacific Rose also operates Foodtastic’s Milestones restaurants in Alberta and British Columbia. The Enoteca Monza restaurants are generally in a 5000 to 5500 square foot units in shopping centres, entertainment centres, street and freestanding locations. Urban and suburban market with a minimum population of 75,000 as well as downtown corridors are chosen.
