Over the weekend, Clutch, a growing online used car retailer, opened a 1050 square foot Customer Hub location on the third level at Bayshore Shopping Centre in Ottawa’s Nepean community. Clutch’s Customer Hub is a pickup and drop-off point for Ottawa customers who opt to buy or sell a used vehicle through the Clutch on-line service. As Clutch continues to grow, these hubs will play an important role in complementing the digital-first model, offering both convenience and human connection. The location serves as a centralized hub for customers to pick up or drop off vehicles purchased or sold through the online service, streamlining the handoff experience. “We’ve seen how impactful a physical space can be in connecting with our customers,” said CEO Dan Park. “Transparency and convenience are core to our business and giving Canadians the flexibility to engage with us how they want, whether fully online or with in-person support, is important as we continue to grow across Canada.” Clutch is headquartered in Toronto and services Ontario and Nova Scotia, with sell-side services also available in British Columbia. In mid-2025, the first Clutch Customer Hub opened in a 1088 square foot location on Level 2 at CF Markville in Markham. Senior Brand Manager Stephanie Johnson notes that the company will continue opening the customer hubs in high traffic areas, seeking various sites, not exclusively malls. Other properties that meet their needs with adequate space, parking, access, etc.
