Just a month after opening its first location in Quebec and its second in Atlantic Canada, over the weekend Happy Belly Food Group Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its newest Rosie’s Burgers restaurant at the Glen Hill Plaza at Dundas St. East and Glen Hill Dr. in Whitby, a suburban community east of Toronto. The opening marks the 15th location in Canada for the quick service brand known for its signature smash burgers, golden fries, poutine, onion rings, and classic milkshakes. Introduced in Toronto in 2020 and part of the Happy Belly Food Group since late 2023, the brand has more than 110 in development across key Canadian provinces and plans to scale rapidly in the years ahead. The chain operated in highly visible locations with convenient access and in the 800 to 1500 square foot range.
