The nominations highlight the transformative District 55 Espace de vie project in Trois-Rivières, a large-scale mixed-use development integrating housing, retail, hospitality, and green space. Le Club Pickleball & Tennis Tremblant, a new racquet sports complex is planned for Mont-Tremblant in Quebec’s Laurentians area, with a targeted opening in November 2026. Developed by a group of entrepreneurs, the state-of-the-art facility will include ten indoor and four outdoor pickleball courts, along with four indoor tennis courts.  Located at the corner of Labelle St. and Champagne Rd, the project is designed to blend with the natural surroundings, and aims to boost sports tourism in the Laurentians, creating a year-round hub for players of all ages and skill levels. Programming will include lessons, leagues, tournaments, and events, complemented by an on-site café. Primaris REIT has announced the appointment of Julian Schonfeldt as Chief Investment Officer, effective April 1, 2026.  With the growth of Primaris’ portfolio over the past few years, and an increasing set of investment opportunities in its expanded portfolio, as well as continued acquisition and disposition opportunities, the appointment of a dedicated CIO further strengthens the management team and enhances focus across the organization.  Schonfeldt will oversee Primaris’ investment activities and capital allocation initiatives, including acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio optimization, and investment underwriting.  He brings extensive experience in real estate investment and capital markets.
