This week, High Tide Inc. opens a Canna Cabana retail cannabis store in Sarnia in southwestern Ontario bringing the chain’s total store count to 220 Canna Cabana locations across Canada and 96 in Ontario. The unit is at 1355 London Rd. in an established commercial node, directly across Lambton Mall. “I am pleased to announce our entry into the Sarnia market as we continue expanding into high-potential communities across Canada where Canna Cabana does not yet have a presence,” said Founder, CEO Raj Grover. “Sarnia offers a strong demographic profile for cannabis retail, and we believe our discount club model will resonate well with local consumers seeking value, selection, and a differentiated retail experience.” High Tide anticipates adding 20 to 30 locations in calendar 2026 on its way to a goal of 350 locations across the country. The Sarnia location is its second opening this year, following an opening in Scarborough in early February. Canna Cabana is the largest cannabis retail chain in Canada, with stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario, holding a growing twelve percent share of the market. The company also owns and operates multiple global eCommerce platforms offering accessories and hemp-derived CBD products.
