Mandy’s Gourmet Salad, the chain of quick service restaurants feature signature salads and DIY salads made with a wide selection of fresh, premium ingredients, proteins, toppings and dressings, is preparing to open its fifth location in Toronto on Front St East near the Distrillery District. It will be the chain’s 15th location in Quebec and Ontario and in the Summer, the chain enters the British Columbia market with openings on West Cordova St in Vancouver and on West 4th Ave in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood. As previously reported, the chain is also exploring the Calgary market and several key markets in the U.S. Madeleine Byblow at Jones Lang LaSalle Real Estate is handling the real estate search in British Columbia and Alberta and Brandon Gorman is responsible for Toronto’s Financial Core area and Oakville. Mandy’s targets prominent street-front locations, corners preferred, with patio opportunities in the 1,600 to 2,000 square foot size range. In addition to new locations, the company has also announced that veteran retail executive Lyne Lamothe has been named President of Mandy’s Gourmet Salad.
