In late February 2026, Sungiven Foods opened its tenth location at the new One Park project in Central Richmond. Located on Park Rd, across from CF Richmond Centre, the 10,500 square foot unit features its new revised interior design and a broader product mix to cater to non-Asians. Operating since 2019, Sungiven Foods Canada is an Asian specialty supermarket in Vancouver that has positioning itself as a provider of healthy daily meal items, focusing on the development and retail of its own proprietary branded products which are natural, less processed and with fewer additives. The chain has locations operating in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond and Burnaby and is actively looking to expand its full-service 8000 square foot and larger format as well as its new smaller format 3500 to 5000 square foot ‘produce plus convenience grocery’ concept. The smaller size provides a greater flexibility and reduced requirements for loading, power and other amenities needed for larger grocery stores. Sungiven continues to seek new location in the Greater Vancouver area with the focus on areas with a high Asian population. Sean Ogilvie at Lee & Associates handles the site selection for the chain.
