Montreal-based KaleMart24 is building on its impressive debut, with multiple new store openings, its anticipated entry into Toronto, and ambitious expansion plans for 2026. The contactless convenience store concept has gained strong momentum since opening its first flagship location in Montreal in Spring 2024. Today, KaleMart24 counts eight locations across Quebec and two in Ontario, with further growth already underway. Founder and entrepreneur Oussama ‘Sam’ Saoudi has successfully reimagined the convenience store format, blending health, innovation, and sustainability into a modern, urban convenience store concept designed to cater to a new generation of on-the-go shoppers and busy young professionals. Featuring a selection of snacks, beverages, meals, personal care items, etc., the retail concept leverages technology with a strong loyalty program, as well as self-checkout, contactless and mobile payments options that encourage shoppers to shop easily and buy often 24/7. With Saoudi and KaleMart24 since the outset, Tony Flanz of Think Retail reports that KaleMart24 will make its downtown Toronto debut in June 2026 in an 1800 square foot street corner location on Yonge St at Gloucester St the busy Church-Wellesley area. Also in June, the brand will open its first enclosed mall location at the Montreal Eaton Centre in downtown Montreal, occupying an 850 square foot space on the Metro level, directly facing the new REM entrance. Flanz adds that KaleMart24 is aggressively pursuing additional opportunities in both Montreal and Toronto, with plans to open at least 15 new stores over the coming year. The focus remains on high-traffic, street-front locations, open-air plazas, and office towers, with ideal spaces ranging from 850 to 1,500 square feet.
