Next Phase of Growth……….

Contrecœur, the community located about 70-kilometres north of Montreal, is entering a new phase of growth, driven by the ongoing expansion of its port infrastructure, which is generating sustained economic momentum.  As the city evolves as an important economic hub in Quebec, the arrival of new workers and residents is creating strong demand for retail and service-oriented businesses.  Jaime Roskies at Group Forum reports that an inline unit of 1644 square feet, is available immediately at the developer’s Marche Contrecoeur, the IGA Extra-anchored community centre at Rue des Patriotes and Rue Saint-Antoine at the main entrance to the Contrecoeur community.  The suggested uses include services, medical, beauty, esthetics or specialty retail.  In addition, up to 6000 square feet, in flexible configurations starting at about 1700 square feet, will be available for Fall 2026 possession.  In addition to the supermarket anchor, the Marche Contrecoeur includes several national and regional retailers such as Dollarama, SAQ, Chico, A&W, Banque Nationale, etc.
