In mid-March, the KaleMart24 chain of modern convenience stores announced that it has secured a new location at 1199 St Catherine St West in downtown Montreal for franchisee Taslima Chowhury. The new store will offer KaleMart24’s signature experience, including fresh grab-and-go meals, healthy snacks, premium beverages, and everyday essentials, all presented in a clean, modern, and welcoming environment designed for the pace of city life. Then later in March, the chain reported that it has secured a location at 5552 Monkland Ave in Montreal’s NDG neighbourhood on behalf of a franchisee. In addition, KaleMart24 also announced last week that it has secured a new location for franchisee Ralitsa Krumova Atalick at The Carlisle Condos building at 57 Carlisle St. in downtown St. Catharines in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula area. A major milestone in its expansion, KaleMart24 has reached a 19-store network composed of 17 franchise partners and two corporate locations. Currently, seven stores are open and serving customers, while six locations are actively under construction, and the remaining franchise partners are in the process of securing prime locations in key markets. “Reaching this milestone is a testament to the strength of our model and the incredible partners we’re building with,” said Oussama Saoudi Hassani, founder of KaleMart24. “Our focus has always been on quality growth—partnering with the right franchisees and positioning ourselves in locations where we can truly become part of the community.” Introduced in Spring 2024, KaleMart24 is a reimagined convenience store concept that blends health, innovation, and sustainability into a modern, urban convenience store concept designed to cater to a new generation of on-the-go shoppers and busy young professionals. Working with Saoudi and KaleMart24 since the outset, Tony Flanz of Think Retail reports that KaleMart24 continues to pursue additional opportunities focusing on high-traffic, street-front locations, open-air plazas, and office towers, with ideal spaces ranging from 850 to 1,500 square feet.
