The quick service Poke Monster franchise opened in Carrefour Laval in Laval and the Montreal Eaton Centre in downtown Montreal to launch 2026 with over 30 locations and plans for more. Introduced about four years ago, Poke Monster features a Hawaiian-inspired poke menu of marinated diced raw fish tossed in sauces, that combine an Asian twist with various fresh ingredients and sauces, all made-to-order on site. Richard Gareau at Groupe Immobilier Gareau is responsible for the chain’s site selection and adds that the chain continues to source prime locations in the greater Montreal area and in its surrounding suburban markets. In addition, the company continues to source newly inspired entrepreneurs as well as seasoned operators to fuel its growth.
