Later this week, Pilgrim, the Danish-inspired jewelry brand known for its handmade, stylish accessories, will open its tenth store in Canada, another step in its continued growth. The 840 square foot store will open on the second level of CF Masonville Place in London in Southwestern Ontario. Originating in Denmark in the early 1980s as a small maker of handmade jewelry rooted in art, music, and personal connection, Robert Hayes and his Pilgrim North America introduced the brand to the Canadian market in 2014. Today, the brand embraces Nordic minimalist design in its wide range of necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, etc., all designed to allow individuals to express their personal style. The first store in Canada opened in a pop-up in 2019 that later transitioned into a permanent location in Place Montreal Trust in downtown Montreal. In addition to retail stores in Quebec and Ontario and its eCommerce platform, the Pilgrim brand is available in about 550 independent specialty stores across Canada.
