Nutrition House is a well-established Canadian health and wellness retail franchise founded in 1979 by the Dominguez family. It began franchising in 1993 and currently there are about 30 locations in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia with several more under development as the company looks to open five to ten new locations per year. Nutrition House stores focus on natural health products, including vitamins, minerals, supplements, sports nutrition, and body care items from both major brands and exclusive co-branded lines. The company’s mission is to ‘lead and foster well-being, responsibly,’ with an emphasis on helping customers make informed choices about their health and wellness. Knowledgeable staff, loyalty programs, and a broad product selection aim to support a variety of health goals, from general wellness to targeted nutritional needs. Nutrition House has just launched the roll out of its Nutrition House 2.0 showcasing legacy products like vitamins, supplements, sports nutrition and now smart medical devices as well as a focus on mental health and wellness. New locations in the 500 to 800 square foot range in close proximity to major gym and wellness centres are required. All sites will be considered in high pedestrian traffic streets, malls, strip plazas, mixed use and office settings as well as smaller communities throughout southwestern Ontario. President Wayne Parent is handling the chain’s franchise requirements and Warren Smagaren at Warren Smagaren Consulting is handling the real estate search.
