The store opens at Omni Group’s new Colwood Corners mixed-use project in the Langford area in Vancouver Island. The new store will feature a large selection of supplements and nutrition products from top brands, including protein powders, creatine, and pre-workout supplements. Customers will find expert advice and guidance for any health or fitness goal from Supplement King’s knowledgeable staff. “We are thrilled to be opening our 100th store in Canada,” said Supplement King President, Roger King. “From the company’s humble roots as a university delivery business, this is a significant milestone and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. In late 2023, the Halifax-based chain announced plans to open 24 new stores in 2024. While the growth is focused on Western Canada and Ontario, any large format fitness-anchored site in other markets would be considered. Supplement King focuses on gym-anchored retail centres for its 1200 to 1500 square foot locations. Director of Leasing Adam Conter is responsible for the chain’s site selection and adds that the company is able to look over 24 months out and is also interested in pre-leasing in new and growing markets.
