In mid-November 2022, Sephora Canada celebrated the opening of its 100th store at the Crossroads Station Shopping Centre in Winnipeg. Having opened about 14 stores during 2022, the then newly appointed General Manager of Sephora Canada Thomas Haupt, stated plans to expand the Sephora presence in Canada. In early August, the 105th Sephora store in Canada opened in the Dufferin Mall in Toronto’s downtown Brockton Village neighbourhood and report are, more openings are reported to be in the works. The LVMH-owned omni-channel beauty chain features a broad assortment of makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance brands at various price points, including its own Sephora Collection and cult favourites like Rare Beauty, Youth to the People, Olaplex, and Maison Margiela. Traditionally the Sephora stores operate in major malls and high-street locations from Newfoundland to British Columbia. The stores range in size from 3600 to 8500 square feet.
