Later in the week, the Cannabis Xpress chain of specialty cannabis and related accessory stores will open its 21st location and seventh in New Brunswick in Bouctouche in southeast N.B. The 250 square foot location is at 18 rue Industrielle, just north of Irving Blvd at the Parc D’Affaires Business Park. Then in June, Cannabis Xpress will open its eighth location in the province 2420 Acadie Rd in Cap-Pele in southeast N.B. and Cannabis Xpress owner Chris Jones adds that plans call for a total of 24 stores by the end of the year. Introduced in 2020, the smaller Cannabis Xpress stores are designed to emphasize speed and convenience with a streamline product selection. The stores traditionally locate in small to medium sized towns and cities that have limited or no competition. The Cannabis Xpress units are generally under 1000 square feet.
