Introduced in 2013 by the Taddeo family, established restaurateurs who have previously launched several QSR brands in Ontario, Goodfellas Wood Oven Pizza is a chain of seven full-service, licensed pizzerias in the greater Toronto area. The fully licensed concept features a relaxed atmosphere suitable for any occasion and a menu with a rustic Italian ‘backyard’ flavour inspired by the south of Rome and created with a variety of fresh and imported ingredients. The restaurants specialize in an authentic Neapolitan-style wood oven pizza along with artisanal pastas, salads, desserts, etc. Goodfellas has launched its franchise program and planning to franchise some of the existing, established restaurants, initially starting with its 4200 square foot restaurant on Hwy 7 in Woodbridge and the 2750 square foot location on Old Mill Dr. near Bloor West Village in Toronto. Once new franchisees have been introduced into its system, other existing units and potentially new restaurants and/or conversions would be considered.
