Introduced in 2013, Goodfellas Wood Oven Pizza is a chain of seven full service, licensed pizzerias in the greater Toronto area. The Goodfellas brand was launched by the by the Taddeo family, long established restaurateurs who were behind several other take-out pizza brands in Ontario. Utilizing this wealth of experience in development, operations and marketing, having developed over 200 QSR units in the past, the Goodfellas brand is now in the process of launching its new Goodfellas Italian Streetfood Express takeout concept. The new franchise model will focus on rustic flavours of authentic Neapolitan pizza and tasty street food appetizers made with ingredients imported from Italy. Initially targeting the greater Toronto area, plans are to open the first Goodfellas Italian Streetfood locations in 2024 and expand outward. Highly visible street front and plaza locations with convenient access and close proximity to Starbucks and grocery anchors such as Longos, Fortinos, Metro, Farm Boy, etc. are required. The size necessary is in the 800 to 1200 square foot range. Jason Kleyn at Northern Hospitality Real Estate has been retained to handle the site selection for the new concept.
