In operation since 2006, Beanwise Tasting Emporium has become one of the country’s largest online coffee and tea stores. In addition to the online sales of whole bean coffees, pods, teas and related equipment and accessories, there are specialty drinks, syrups and mixes, etc. Beanwise also operates three permanent retail locations in greater Toronto. President Jim Gilliland is now planning to expand the chain’s bricks & mortar footprint and has retained Kapil Rana at The Behar Group Realty to handle the search for sites. With present locations in East York, Mississauga and on Yonge St in mid-town Toronto, the chain is targeting sites in Toronto’s Bloor West Village, Vaughan, Oakville, Markham and Etobicoke areas. The chain will operate is units in the 2500 square foot range.
