The Tahini’s Mediterranean Fusion chain of quick service restaurants is actively seeking spaces in both the U.S. and Canada targeting sites in the 1400 to 1800 square foot range in highly visible plazas as well as non-traditional sites such as universities and hospitals. Introduced in London in Southwestern Ontario in 2012, the chain specializes in a wide selection of fusion Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes made from scratch using fresh, organic and natural ingredients. Currently there are about 75 locations in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Illinois and the chain has approved franchisees for sites in Vancouver, Saskatoon, Moncton and Halifax in Canada and in Seattle, Baltimore, Chicago and across New Jersey in the U.S. Director of leasing Saif Essanussi and Chief development officer Shawn Saraga of Revel Realty is handling the chain’s growth.
