In mid-December 2023, Sephora Canada opening a 4600 square foot location at the North Front St entrance at Quinte Mall in Belleville. This brings the LVMH-owned omni-channel beauty chain with its broad assortment of makeup, skincare haircare and fragrance brands at various price points to about 114 stores across Canada. It was only mid-November 2022 that Sephora opened its 100th store in Canada at the Crossroads Station Shopping Centre in Winnipeg and in August 2023, the 105th store opened in Dufferin Mall in Toronto. Jeffrey Berkowitz at Aurora Realty Consultants is responsible for the chain’s site selection in Canada and expansion in Canada is expected to continue. So far for the comping year the chain has been reported to be opening in The Well project in downtown Toronto and a 3950 square foot location in the redevelopment at Cottonwood Centre in Chilliwack in BC. Traditionally the Sephora stores operate in major malls and high-street locations from Newfoundland to British Columbia. The stores range in size from 3600 to 8500 square feet.
